HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each lesson is structured around a theme: beginning with a full body loosening and warmup routine, before moving onto solo weapons and bodywork training. Always moving from the simple to the complex; from the basics to the increasingly challenging advanced levels.
All classes are online, live, and interactive – taken as part of a group via Zoom Meetings. The Online Dojo is a community of members from many different countries, all training in the spirit of sharing and learning together. Class times are scheduled at a specific time and consist of daily morning classes and a weekly evening class (time-zone dependant). Each lesson is also recorded Live for you to review after the class in your own time – or in case you miss a class, you can follow along at a more convenient time. Sign up today, and you will receive all the necessary information to access the live classes and recorded content.
ZOOM MEETING INFO:
We use the same meeting number for all the classes – so this will not change. Zoom will save the number for you so you shouldn’t need to re enter it for every class, just select the Takemusu Aikido Online Dojo.

The classes focus on solo exercises for bokken, jo, tai-jutsu and ukemi. Please keep your weapons close by and ideally you will need a minimum of 2×2 m for the exercises.
The training is recorded LIVE and available for you to review in your own time. This can be accessed through YouTube. You can find over 500 videos uploaded on our Channel, including over 300 hour-long classes, Workshops, and week-long Intensives!
